Buyers choose a shredder when material is too large, too thick or too tangled for a granulator alone. Typical UK uses are in-house volume reduction, feeding a wash line, or first-stage size reduction before an ENMA granulator. Throughput, screen size, rotor design and hopper style are matched to the polymer and the shape of the scrap, not sold as a one-size catalogue item.
