Shredders and granulators for PP, PE, PET and PVC film

Film is one of the hardest plastics to size-reduce well: it wraps, bridges and can smear if the rotor and feed are wrong. ENMA single-shaft shredders with a suitable hopper and screen, plus G-series or soundproof granulators, are used in the UK on PP, PE, PET and PVC film, including large bags, bales and edge trim.

A shredder is usually the first stage for bulky or baled film; a granulator then produces a more uniform flake for washing, extrusion or in-house reuse. Dual V-cut and film-specific rotor options help keep energy use down and output consistent. For lower volumes, a correctly specified granulator with tangential infeed can handle film without a separate shredder.

Send a short description of the film (printed or plain, thickness, how it arrives) and the kg/h you need. K-Tech will recommend shredder only, granulator only, or a two-stage ENMA line, and can discuss a material trial before you buy.

Send a sample or photos of the material and we will recommend a machine, or arrange a trial. UK stock, commissioning and spare parts from Whaley Bridge.
