Dehumidifiers for Silos & Mixers

An optional extra to consider for bulk material storage and blending is a silo dehumidifier.

Operators of silos will be aware of the effects of excessive moisture. Relative Humidity (RH) levels are difficult to control as they change throughout the day and with the seasons. 

When storing and blending dry bulk materials in silos humidity can often cause problems such as blocked pipes, leading to lost production.  The increase in moisture due to condensation may cause many ingredients to cake together and buildup on equipment.

The Solution - a Dehumidifier

A Munters desiccant dehumdifier provides a preventive solution by effectively controlling the relative humidity.
