Our History

Timeline for the establishment & growth of K-Tech Machinery.

2008. K-Tech Plastics Machinery formed

K-Tech was born out of the 2008 financial crisis. Manufacturing companies had curtailed all but the most critical spending. Karl Shields was working as a sales manager for Motan. He became a commission only agent to enabled him to sell other products along side Motan to supplement sales during this lean period.

2009. Distribution agreement signed for ST Modular conveyors

We have sold hundreds of these conveyors into injection & blow moulding applications. They have proven to be an exceptionally reliable, and popular product.

2013. Distribution agreement with Beccaria mixers & augers

K-Tech identified a gap in the market for bulk homogenisation of polymers for the recycling industry, Beccaria was the perfect partner to fulfil this need.

2021. Move to larger Premises with warehouse & demonstration facilities.

This move enabled staff to be employed, spares to be held for customers, demonstration capability, and a proper meeting room.

2022. Distribution agreement with ENMA granulators & Shredders

K-Tech moves into size reduction for the recycling sector.

2026. Distribution agreement with NGR Recycling Extruders

Looking to expand our product offering for our customers in October 2026 K-Tech secured an agreement to distribute high-quality recycling extruders from the prestigious Austrian company NGR.
